Slow Class – Beginning Colorwork Sweater

Elgin Knit Works 10 Douglas Avenue, Elgin, IL, United States

FIE Pullover: The flower design is a whimsical take on the traditional Nordic XO pattern. The top-down construction starts at the neckband and quickly jumps into the colorwork. You can go wild with colorwork and knit a multi-color yoke, or simply make the two-color original design. Top-down sweaters are easy to try on as you knit so that you can tailor fit the yoke depth and length of your body and sleeves. After the colorwork, you can opt in or out of short rows to lower the neckline if you please. If you would like to make a longer version or add long sleeves we will help you do either (or both).
