We are excited to announce our next KAL, which kicks off on April 16th. The Elmgrove is a great transitional cardigan that will take you through spring and into summer. KAL knitters who purchase the yarn & pattern from us will have all the help they need to complete the project. Our knit-alongs usually last about 2 months so you will have plenty of time to complete this project. Join us on Sundays from 10-1:00 to meet other knitters, get help and knit.

Yarn Crawl's theme this year celebrates the anniversary of the Chicago Public Library. In honor of this, we have created kits that come in a project bag featuring original artwork in a book theme. Kits contain our very own hand-dyed silk/alpaca yarn with pattern all inside a project bag. Choose from a two-skein bag including the Sophie pattern or a three-skein bag including the Airy Breeze pattern. Visit our New in the Shop page for details!
This KAL will go through August. Join us on Fridays and/or Sundays or knit on your own at home. EKW's Knit-a-longs come with all the help you need to complete any of these great summer knits. When you participate you will receive assistance on: color choice, gauge, fitting. All the sweaters can be customized in length of sleeve and body. This is a great opportunity if you have wanted to make a sweater but have been nervous to do it on your own. Knitters just have to purchase the designated yarn and we will help you all the way. For our next KAL we have decided to shake things up a bit. Knitters who would like to continue to work on their KAL sweaters are welcome to continue. For those knitters who switch to gift knitting (or just accessory knitting) can participate in our Malabrigo Holiday KAL. Knitters can join us during November & December on Sunday afternoons from 1:30-4. HOW DOES IT WORK?
You can choose from any of the Malabrigo yarns in the shop. A ticket will be issued for each skein purchased. When the project is completed, bring the ticket in and you will recieve 10% off on your next skein of Malabrigo yarn and the tickets will be entered into a drawing that we will have during our post-holiday party.
