Friday's Sept 15,22,29 & Oct 6 from 1:30 to 3:30 OR Saturday's Sept 16,23,30 & Oct 7 from 10:30-12:30 this four (4) Session class is only $65 (Materials additional). Join us as we learn how to utilize this magic pattern to make your ideal t-shirt-style pullover. Knitters can work with any weight yarn sport or larger. They can also choose their needle size and we will help ensure the fit. The length of the sweater as well as the sleeves are completely adjustable.

This amazing toe-up formula brings all the benefits of a top-down sock ... gusset, heal flap & proper heel turn to the toe-up pattern. The pattern we use is a formula that can transform any sock pattern into a toe-up sock. **Knitters must have previously completed at least one pair of socks. Join us for this one-session class and learn to make these super warm super fast mitts. These one-skein mits are knitted on two circular needles and can be made two at a time once you have mastered the technique. They make great gifts and are a must for any winter in the Chicago area. Get a jump on your holiday knitting while learning a new skill. This nifty little headband is knitted flat while you learn to create a beautiful cable. One skein makes two headbands. Thursday, Sept. 28 10:30-12:30 OR Saturday, Sept 30 1:30-3:30. 1 Session $25 (Materials additional)

Bandana Cowl: Learn this alternative short-row technique that leaves your work tidy and looking great. The point of this kerchief is completely constructed with short-rows. Students will learn how to substitute German short rows for other types of short rows in a pattern. These cowls make great holiday gifts and help you to master the skill. FIE Pullover: The flower design is a whimsical take on the traditional Nordic XO pattern. The top-down construction starts at the neckband and quickly jumps into the colorwork. You can go wild with colorwork and knit a multi-color yoke, or simply make the two-color original design. Top-down sweaters are easy to try on as you knit so that you can tailor fit the yoke depth and length of your body and sleeves. After the colorwork, you can opt in or out of short rows to lower the neckline if you please. If you would like to make a longer version or add long sleeves we will help you do either (or both).

Flicker & Flame: This hat is an excellent way to learn to knit a colorwork hat. Knitters will learn to read a chart, work with two colors and decrease with the two needle technique (no DPN's). Knitters are asked to purchase their materials ahead of time and have the ribbing done for the first class. One (1) Sunday Session: October 8th OR 15th OR 29th. These adorable bats don't just have to be for Halloween. They make great gifts for people when they need a reminder to "hang in there". Learn to create these little cuties on 2 circular needles. we will talk through all the tips and tricks for finishing and hanging the bats.

Join us for this one-session class and learn this amazing stitch. Nothing else in knitting looks like two-color brioche. This wonderful cowl is knitted on big needles with bulky yarn and makes it fly off your needles.

So many things to learn in these colorwork mittens. Start by working on two circular needles (instead of DPN'S) then try out a non-traditional type of gusset for the thumb. Finally, toss a bit of colorwork in just to keep things interesting. Have you always wanted to learn to crochet?  Delay no longer and sign up for this class!  No prior crochet experience necessary. Participants will learn how to chain and single crochet. By the end of the class, participants will be able to complete a cowl or hat (student's choice). Three (3) Sessions: November  11, 18, & December 2, 10:30-12:30. $45 (materials additional)
