The Soldotna Crop is a top-down circular yoke sweater that features stranded colorwork. The design can easily be lengthened if crops aren’t your style. This class is for you as long as you have some previous experience with colorwork. We will learn about gauge in stranded knitting and how to tweak a top-down sweater to fit. The class is scheduled with two weeks between each class in order to allow for homework.

January Sunday Workshop: Betangled Cowl

The Betangled Cowl is a warm, luxurious cowl for those coldest of days in deep winter. The fabric is completely reversible, with dramatic ribbed cables on a garter-stitch field. This cowl is knitted from one short end to the other, and then the ends are connected with a button closure.

The pattern includes three sizes: a single loop, a longer single loop that can be worn around the shoulders, and a double loop. The circumference of the loop can easily be adjusted as you go. Although the pattern calls for worsted-weight yarn, dk, and aran-weight yarns will be equally beautiful.

Fully written instructions are provided, along with an optional chart.

Intro to Lace: Saroyan

Knit in one piece from start to finish, Saroyan is a perfect project for beginning lace knitters. This tapered scarf can be worn in various ways, and the construction helps keep your neck nice and cozy. Sockmatician Toe-up Formula: If you are ready to take your sock knitting to the next level, this is the class for you. This amazing toe-up formula brings all the benefits of a top-down sock... gusset, heel flap, and proper heel turn to the toe-up pattern. The pattern we use is a formula that can transform any sock pattern into a toe-up sock. **Knitters must have previously completed at least one pair of socks.
