This KAL will go through August. Join us on Fridays and/or Sundays or knit on your own at home. EKW's Knit-a-longs come with all the help you need to complete any of these great summer knits. When you participate you will receive assistance on: color choice, gauge, fitting. All the sweaters can be customized in length of sleeve and body. This is a great opportunity if you have wanted to make a sweater but have been nervous to do it on your own. Knitters just have to purchase the designated yarn and we will help you all the way. Bandana Cowl: Learn this alternative short-row technique that leaves your work tidy and looking great. The point of this kerchief is completely constructed with short-rows. Students will learn how to substitute German short rows for other types of short rows in a pattern. These cowls make great holiday gifts and help you to master the skill. FIE Pullover: The flower design is a whimsical take on the traditional Nordic XO pattern. The top-down construction starts at the neckband and quickly jumps into the colorwork. You can go wild with colorwork and knit a multi-color yoke, or simply make the two-color original design. Top-down sweaters are easy to try on as you knit so that you can tailor fit the yoke depth and length of your body and sleeves. After the colorwork, you can opt in or out of short rows to lower the neckline if you please. If you would like to make a longer version or add long sleeves we will help you do either (or both).
